This is an exciting opening to join this local company who are one of the UK’s leading Building Services Consulting Engineers. They are looking to appoint a Marketing Assistant on a 12-month FTC at their Caterham site, to support and enhance key marketing activities across the business.

Working week: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm

You will be working independently to assist with the delivery of key marketing activities; working with teams across the business, to identify areas of opportunity for marketing activity. You will be communicating with senior management to ensure tender activities are updated on a regular basis.
They are looking for a diligent individual who will stay up to date with competitor and industry activities and feedback to the team – you will also be required to provide additional administrative support to the team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- ‘Day to day’ management of the Company website to ensure it’s up to date, reporting any malfunctions to the Digital Agency. This will include uploading latest projects, news, careers, redesigning pages, uploading client logo’s and social media posts
- Website major amendments – through liaison with third party digital agency to maintain, update and redesign across the site
- Compose, implement, and manage ‘online’ content and marketing campaigns for Company website, LinkedIn and Twitter
- Manage social media campaigns with input from engineers to provide awareness
- Design of infographics / graphics using PowerPoint and InDesign
- Production and maintenance of company presentations
- Support planning, developing, production and delivery of marketing materials
- Provide ideas and support in developing company branding, aligning with company brand strategy and values
- Production of tender fee bid package documentation
- Update and maintain CRM database management on company software (Rapport)
- Organise company events – client invitations, booking tables, booking entertainment/ table plans etc Design invitations, menus, tickets for events
Do you hold the following skills & attributes?
- Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Intermediate / Advanced Desktop publishing skills (i.e. Adobe InDesign, Canva)
- Qualifications: Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)
- Strong communication skills
- Must be self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
