Administrator – Part-time

This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Administrator that has exposure to working within Construction to support the team on a 14-month contract to cover maternity leave on a part-time basis.

Salary: £21,000

Location: Caterham

Hours: 5 days per week, 25 hours – flexible on how these are made up

Start: May 2025 – 14 months

What will your working week be like?

  • Reception duties – answering phone, room bookings, arranging couriers, post etc
  • Collating Considerate Constructors Scheme scores and distributing ideas to the teams
  • Deal with day-to-day general administrative enquiries
  • Site start up packs
  • Compiling monthly board meeting packs and arranging lunch
  • Collating monthly waste statistics
  • Drawing Management – signing, distributing, recording etc
  • Calendar Management – production meetings for projects
  • Setting up company mobiles
  • Assist with the production of Operation and Maintenance manuals

Who will suit this role?

The successful candidate will have experience of working within a fast-paced environment, ideally within construction background, working to strict deadlines, sometimes managing multiple, urgent requirements. A strong Administrator who has a good understanding of great customer service is an essential requirement.

  • Develops and maintains constructive working relationships in order to provide team support.
  • Is proactive on supportive approach to new work, identifying and dealing with problems at an early stage.
  • Learns and supports the team with the implementation of new technology.
  • Solid knowledge in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organisational ability, working to deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail for accurate record keeping
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to multi-task & prioritise conflicting workload
  • Work independently whilst contributing to both team and company goals
  • Construction background/ knowledge would be an advantage
